The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club

“One of America’s 100 greatest public courses,” the Golden Horseshoe golf course, located inside the historic district, is operated by Colonial Williamsburg. (Guests staying in the historic district receive preferred tee times and/or discount rates).

 

There are three courses to choose from:

  • GOLD COURSE: Reopened in July 2017 after extensive renovation.

  • GREEN COURSE: Longer and a little more forgiving than Gold, the Green Course is appealing to all levels of golfers, and an excellent choice for a group outing.

  • SPOTSWOOD COURSE: The course for family fun, Spotswood is nine-holes of Robert Trent Jones Sr. mastery that golfers of every level will love.

Enjoy a drink at either the 19th hole (Golden Horseshoe Golf Club), or on The Social Terrace behind the iconic Williamsburg Inn.

Cycling

Enjoy biking through the historic area like a local (or head to the Virginia Capital Trail, which offers a 52 mile long bike path between Williamsburg and Richmond!)

The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg

A lovely, full-service Spa and fitness center, located between The Williamsburg Inn and The Williamsburg Lodge in the historic district.  All spa services include access to the pools. (Guests staying in the historic district receive preferred times and/or discount rates).
